The
Club holds a monthly club night and arranges a number of runs on
Sundays and on Summer Wednesday evenings Mini Coach trips are organised to a number of events including Shows, Sprints, Museums etc. The
Club also organises short holidays in Yorkshire, Northern France and
for the first time, in 2005 we went to Ireland. We also run a number of social
events such as barbeques and a Christmas Dinner. The
Club also actively participates in local and bike orientated shows
such as Amberley, Ringmer, Ardingly and the Rockers Reunion in
Brighton where we have a Club stand and welcome members to display
their bikes under the Club’s banner. Jean Bernard has the following events planned for 2011 to which you are all cordially invited. Valmont Sunday 3rd April all day bike show only for Italian bikes. French Weekend , at Therouldeville, staying there if camping or at the Hotel D,angleterre in Fecamp if you want with bike parking as we have for the past few years This is Friday 1st july out from Newhaven, Back on Monday 3rd July, or you can stay for 5 days with no extra ferry cost , but that needs to be pre booked. With both the ferry company and the hotel. 4 hrs Valmont Sunday28th August this is a time trial event for old bikes only, good fun on public roads. By Pete Olbrich I will lead the run on an Ariel 350 so a slow paced run for classic British Bikes, other bikes are welcome to tag along. We leave Haywards Heath car park at 10.00 using back roads as much as possible we will head for Destination Triumph take a look in the show room, Bury Hill for tea and Coffee, Then the Black Rabbit Arundel for lunch. A short run of around 40 miles Sunday 27th February Depart 9.00 Steam trains and Villages of Mid Sussex... By Pete Olbrich Again a slow paced run for classic British Bikes, other bikes are welcome to follow, an early start leave Haywards Heath 9.00 so we get to Isfield Station for Breakfast before the café gets to busy, after breakfast back roads through a several villages to the Bluebell Railway for a short stop, then more back roads to Horsted Keynes Station, now you are probably feed up with steam trains and need a pint so we will finish up at the Crown on Horsted Keynes village green.
