Pioneer Run - Just for info, Maureen will not be available to run the usual Handcross 'tea tent' this year. However, all is not lost as apparently Horsham Hysterics are providing a similar service in the hall next to the Fountain (ex-Fountain?) pub. Rob

Message from Roger D re French trip 2012 update
LD lines are doing what some Airlines do, now they increase the price nearer the departure date, the Ferry return cost this year is £85 and for seniors £65, so thats a price hike, but to offset it the hotel are giving us 65 euros for a single and 45 euros for a shared room, B&B plus secure parking, which is less than last year, Our exchange rate should also be better this year as the euro in in the toilet. So thats not too bad, Currently there are seven going a few more would be good. So please get in touch if you fancy a great biking weekend in France. Roger D

Hi there,
Recently we contacted yourselves in regards to our AutoEgo show, I just wanted to reach out with a follow up message as to whether you are still interested in attending?
However please note that we have decided to push the date back further as we were given the opportunity to acquire the whole of SOE showground, so we we gladly accepted the offer thus meaning a lot more space for sponsors, automotive businesses and car clubs as we will be able to utilise 100% of the showground.
The new date of our AutoEgo show will be 15th - 17th September 2023. If you are still interested in attending please do let us know so we can be sure to have the perfect pitch set up for you when the time comes.

Hi Guys, just arrived back from the Pet food Run, only 5 of our club members attended. In fact quite a poor showing all round despite the lovely weather. Hope you have all remembered that the AGM is on this Thursday 1st March. Hope to see a good few of you there. Dave & I have decided to stand for the committee together with Trevor, Brenda, Keith West & Pete Hide. Clive & Richard have expressed a wish to stay on the committee so it looks like we have the means to continue as a club, now we need some enthusiasm to get out & enjoy riding our bikes. The weather is looking promising so lets hope we have a good seasons riding! See you out there! Please support us if you can.

Hi I'm afraid I have some sad news for long standing members. It is with great sadness that I have to announce the passing of Ann (Flossie) Mitchell a former club secretary. She sadly passed away on 18th April from pneumonia after a brave fight against terminal cancer. Her funeral was held on 12th May 2021 attended by family members and a few close friends. She will be sadly missed.

Keith Diamond says:
I think this is a great opportunity to keep the momentum of the Club going in between Club nights.and hope that as members discover it,
then hopefully it will get used more and more. Discussions using this format should manifest lots of idea's to solving your problems with your bike, whatever make. You may have an intermittant fault or a problem dismantling some part, use the message board,
someone else may have had the fault in the past and beable to suggest a solution and other members get to read current issue's as well.
Several phone calls may not provide a solution but cost you money trying. This method is free and opens it out to many to give help. Give it a go.
Thanks to Keith for adding this facility on to our Website. Merry Christmas All.

Reference Pioneer Run tea stop. When I went past the Fountain pub yesterday (15th March), it appears that it is being demolished! Anyway, go to the left of the rubble and you are looking for the Parish Hall, it is signposted. I stress that I heard about the tea through the grapevine so don't blame me if its a false rumour!
